Driving the stretch of highway between West Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico is many miles of nothing but land. This highway or any stretch like it, is not the place to be in a roadside survival situation. Expert guest, Walt Brinker has performed over 2,000 free-of-charge roadside assists, as a hobby. Walt’s book, “Roadside Survival” provides a number of solutions to automobile breakdowns. The number one thing to do is, make sure your tires are at their best prior to all road trips. With all emergencies, weather disasters are not exempt. They come about and many times, we are not prepared. Guest, Anthony Kovic reminds us that disasters can strike at any time. The best thing to do is be prepared well in advance to deal with any and all adverse disaster situations. Think ahead and plan because disasters can definitely hit home and wreak havoc in your life!
