About Sue

Sue-StudioAging Info Radio host Sue Zawacki has worked in the aging and elder care industry for 18 years.

Her direct contact with seniors and families through her work in the insurance industry focusing on long term care and Medicare policies made her aware of the issues that adult children of aging parents face when trying to find the right resources to assist their aging loved ones.

Sue’s passion to help family caregivers moved her to connect with an organization that published a resource guide for seniors. Her initiative launched and managed the Chicagoland publication providing over 1 million copies to a six county area.

Sue’s work on the board of several senior service provider associations assisted her in understanding the need for resources to help families caring for an aging loved one or who may be concerned about their own aging journey.

She has felt for over a decade there is a growing need for education and resources in the aging and elder care industry.  As Sue says, demographically we are on the forefront of a silver tsunami.

Her entrepreneur spirit brought Aging Info Radio to WJJG – AM 1530 in Elmhurst, Illinois for just over a year. Sue is the founder and show host. With the growing cohort of seniors and baby boomers she felt the need to expand Aging Info Radio to a much larger broadcasting venue. In January 2012 Aging Info Radio started broadcasting on AM 560 The Answer, formerly known as AM 560 WIND.  The coverage area for AM 560 is all of Chicagoland, southern Wisconsin, N.W. Indiana and S.W. Michigan with the potential to reach nearly half a million listeners and millions more by the way of www.AgingInfoRadio.com where our show streams.

Sue is passionate about keeping others moving forward while connecting them to help one another with resources and education.

We hope that you tune in to Aging Info Radio live or listen to our show podcasts to continue learning from our expert guests as you move forward on your aging journey.

And lastly, we’d like you to meet Sue’s co-star, Daisy Mae, whose voice is heard at the end of the show if she is in studio on a Daisy Day.
