Father’s Day is a special day celebrated worldwide to recognize the contribution that fathers and father figures, make in the lives of children. Father’s Day started in 1966 when President Lyndon Johnson proclaimed the 3rd Sunday in June. Six years later it was President Richard Nixon who signed the law, making it permanently, Father’s Day. With her loss, Barry has initiated, the Family Medical Leave Act to include Parent Bereavement Leave. It is getting closer every day to becoming part of that law. Guest and Belly Dancer, Charisse Sisou talks about dads making mama happy and we all know, how that goes. Not only on Father’s Day, but every day, “If Mama Ain’t Happy, Nobody’s Happy”.
