Close to 100 years later, we know, that a bronze look may no longer be as fashionable, with skin cancer being the fastest growing type of cancer. Skin care expert, Celeste Hilling says to avoid sun exposure during the strong 10-2 hours, wear sunscreen every day, reapply it every two hours if possible and exfoliate your skin often. Exfoliating helps moisturize our skin and renew skin cells. Protecting our skin from UV rays comes down to common sense or maybe done the Aussie way. They practice, “Slip, Slap, Slop”. They slip on a shirt, slap on a hat and slop on some sunscreen, practicing safe sun daily down under, as we should everywhere!
