A personal note from Sue:
In February of 2012 I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Dr. Redinger from Illinois Spinal Care of Elmhurst. I spoke to him about my chronic shoulder pain that I had lived with for years and hip pain from a strain. I assumed that my shoulder pain was caused by repetitive activities and I felt I would have to live with it forever.
During my initial consultation with Dr. Redinger I was informed as to what was causing my chronic pain. With high hopes and a little skepticism I started their Structural Rebuilding Program. The professionalism of Dr. Redinger and Dr. Bertke, their friendly and highly effective staff, ease of scheduling consistently on time appointments, and the educational open environment made my 10 week program easy to go through. I enjoyed my visits and was feeling less and less pain after each visit as we moved forward. With my pain starting to diminish it empowered me to continue.
In April of 2012 I completed my Structural Rebuilding Program and now I am living pain free for the first time in years! Not only am I grateful for the advanced chiropractic care that I received at Illinois Spinal Care of Elmhurst, I feel that NO ONE should live with chronic physical pain if it can be treated. Dr. Redinger and Dr. Bertke at Illinois Spinal Care of Elmhurst, receive my highest recommendation! Best of all, their goal for their patients is “How to Stay Young for the First 100 Years”. What could be better than that!
Dr. Redinger explains what is shown in my before and after x-rays:
The green line represents the ideal shape of the spine according to the Normal Spinal Model. When you have a normal spinal shape your body functions optimally without nerve pressure and we are able to move, function, and perform at our best. The red line represents where a patient actually is. The more superimposed the two lines the better. When a person loses their optimal spinal shape, you literally lose mobility and over time your spine develops osteoarthritis and other degenerative conditions. In this particular case you can see in the pre x-rays where the lines are actually going in opposite directions (cervical kyphosis) and spinal decay has developed. After a Structural Rebuilding program over the course of 10 weeks, you can see the changes made by returning the neck to “as near normal as possible.” She has literally slowed down the aging process and spinal breakdown in the neck by decreasing the stress on the joints of her neck, not only making her feel much better and younger, but preventing further problems for years to come.
